Club Bmv anyone?

Well, I tried a year long subscription into this club offered by Butterick, McCalls ans Vogue patterns. Frankly, it didn't do me any good.
They sent out some seasonal fashion videos, which half the time didn't work at all and then some pattern sales (you can get them cheaper at local fabric stores during their numerous pattern sales).
If you had better luck, let me know.
Maybe your experience was better than mine?
Also regretting the demise of their magazine, "Sewing Today."
My subscription has been replaced with Vogue Patterns (better than nothing at all, which is what I had left when the Hancock's magazine went under).
Hmmmm......

Learn to Knit or Crochet

I'm always trying to figure out if it is easier to learn by book, podcast or in a class.
Of course, if you have a friend or family member who can teach you, go for it! This is from the Craft Yarn Council of America..........
