See the sidebar and click over to His Kingdom Come for some very creative and active groups for Bible study and art (writing too). There are two groups set up for 2015, which will allow you to pursue a devotional study (weekly, or monthly). In the chat forum you'll find art groups and one writing group to post your creative projects in. Tutorials and classes (paid and unpaid) round out the group. Click the side bar.
Crafty Cat continues new endeavors at Dancing With Simplicity. Watch for a craft section or craft articles to be added to the site. Thank you for visiting!
Taking the time out to congratulate my friend on the release of her new Christian romance novel! I'll be reviewing soon, but for now please visit Amazon for all the details on the new book.
Congrats Norma on Land of My Dreams
Crafty is currently pondering the state of things.........
Whether to write, blog or otherwise, craft or both?
Considering that we were not born to be a bookkeeper, and that is what we have been doing since 1986......
well, maybe one of these days a combination of both writing and crafting will pan out.
Joined the Stamps of Life Die Hard club today. That should add some fun. The Stamp of the Month club membership has been a real treat! And pondering some Cricut courses and other venues. The web lends itself well to learning just about any craft.
On the writing side of things, have taken out a membership in Proverbs 31 Ministries Compel writing group.
A real resource for writers, Christian and otherwise.
Visit them at Compel .
And finally, on my third manuscript book launch team, having previously reviewed books for Valorie Burton and Lysa Terkeurst of P31. This time around, Christian author Sheila Walsh's new book is in my Kindle and challenging my thinking. Check out The Storm Inside.
Welcome to One Crafty Cat. Yes, this is a work in progress, as I hope one day to move to a different venue and I hope I have many more blogging skills by then.
I am a small business owner, who would rather delve into writing, knitting, crochet, sewing and now paper crafts. I just bought my first Cricut, and a Big Kick and a few other toys. I'm currently learning to use them.
One day there may be jewelry making and quilting thrown in.
I welcome your comments, and membership.
If you are a crafty cat too, feel free to share any ideas for projects, books, tutorials etc. If you use your Cricut to make things to sell, share that as well.
Thanks for visiting today!
Crafts are certainly popular these days! I never see my local Hobby Lobby empty!
